Stopline: Reporting record of the previous year exceeded by 60%

More than 43,000 reports were submitted in 2021 to the Austrian Report Centre against Child Sexual Abuse Material and National Socialism on the internet.

As the figures of the annual report show, the readiness of Internet users to report illegal content further increased last year. Also, the rate of relevant reports remained high: About one fifth of the reported contents were actually classified as illegal by Stopline staff members. Child Sexual Abuse Images accounted for 99,7% of these.

Stopline is an initiative of ISPA and is funded by the EU program "Connecting Europe Facility (CEF)" and the Austrian Domain-Registry nic.at.
