RcodeZero: New locations

The RcodeZero DNS Anycast network of ipcom, a subsidiary of the Internet Stiftung, continues to grow. New locations in Atlanta, Ljubljana, Mumbai, Seoul and Stockholm are available for customers.

The regular exchange with the customers as well as the continuous optimization of the Anycast routing are important components of the RcodeZero service. These requirements resulted in the deepening of the partnership with the Slovenian registry .si, which led to the establishment of a new RcodeZero DNS TLD as well as secondary server location in Ljubljana.

The new server locations bring not only improved routing, but also speed and availability for the RcodeZero DNS Anycast network. In order to strengthen the presence in the Asian region, the choice fell on a TLD location in Seoul (South Korea). For TLD operators, better performance, short response times and maximum protection are at the top. Therefore, the RcodeZero DNS TLD Cloud currently offers 31 carefully selected locations (as of 05.06.2023) for TLD operators.

As an anycast provider, RcodeZero works as a trusted advisor on DNS strategy and helps implement new processes. Technical DNS changes can be implemented smoothly and with as little effort as possible for customers.
