RCodeZero: Iceland new customer

The Icelandic registry ISNIC (.is) is now using the RCodeZero DNS Anycast network from ipcom, a subsidiary of the Internet Foundation.

Due to the geographically remote location of Iceland, it was particularly important for .is to continue to operate as much infrastructure in the country as possible independently. In order to meet this requirement in the best possible way, a server location was established in Reykjavík. This will ensure optimal routing for the more than 80,000 delegations administering .is.

In order to achieve a homogeneous routing policy, it is relevant for Anycast to connect the right sites with the right routing. RcodeZero provides a cloud with 25 sites for TLD customers.
