RcodeZero DNS: 10th anniversary

Over the past decade, the anycast domain name service from ipcom, a company of the Internet Stiftung, has evolved from a newcomer to a top global provider.

The name says it all, as rcode 0 means "error-free“ within the DNS-language. The globally distributed anycast servers of RcodeZero DNS ensure that the DNS infrastructure of their customers is fail-safe as well as robust:

"Customers benefit from maximum availability, maximum protection against distributed denial-of-service attacks (DDoS) and shorter response times," explains Richard Wein, CEO of nic.at and ipcom.

The numbers speak for themselves, as over the last ten years 25 international top-level domains with almost 21 million domains and more than 100 providers as well as companies with about 3.8 million domains have trusted in the anycast service.
