netidee projects: SmishingCheck

Smishing uses fake text messages to steal sensitive information or spread malware. The SmishingCheck app helps users protect themselves against this threat.

SmishingCheck informs users about smishing and its many forms. It shows how to protect yourself against it.

Users can check suspicious text messages for known cases of fraud directly in the app. Either by taking a screenshot or by directly accessing the message.

Suspected cases of smishing can be easily reported directly via the app. The intuitive reporting process reduces the number of unreported cases.
