netidee funding 2025: Submit now!

Private individuals, companies, students, associations and university institutes can submit their ideas and projects on the topic of the Internet to the funding program of the Internet Stiftung. The call is open until July 7.

Funding of up to 60,000 euros is available for projects. Scholarships of up to 6,000 euros will be awarded for diploma and master's theses and up to 12,000 euros for dissertations/PhDs. In addition, two special prizes of 3,000 euros each are awarded to projects that are particularly worthy of support.

The results of the funded projects are made available to the public online free of charge for use and further development in line with the “open source principle”.

netidee is Austria's large Internet funding program, financed by Internet Stiftung, which is dedicated to the further development and versatile use of the Internet in Austria.
